Having had a blast raising and training Pa’a, I decided the itch was too great to do it all over again with another Jindo Dog, and we imported Hana (하나) in early 2025. Her pedigree is stacked with dogs I have admired for a long time, including the famous BukCheon (북천), KkoMa (꼬마), DolPung (돌풍 온누리견사) and she is related to two of my favorite females on her paternal side; BunDang (분당(진도락하우스)) and GeumJi (라온하우스 금지).
Her breeder graciously boarded, trained, and even showed her in South Korea while we waited out the new 6-month import rule to get her to the US.
Hana has high prey drive and moderate food and toy drive. She is completely neutral with other dogs and Pa’a is her best bud. She tends to be environmentally sensitive in new places but is not noise sensitive to fireworks or other loud noises. She has no issues being handled by judges, vets, or strangers but prefers to ignore unknown humans altogether. She is extremely affectionate with her people and is an overall easy keeper and companion to live with.
We’re hoping to dabble in sports with Hana to see what she enjoys, as well as show her in AKC Open Shows.

June 2025: AKC Virtual Scent Work Beginner (VSWB) and Intermediate (VSWI) earned.
Oct 17, 2025: 1x Best of Breed and 1x Best in FSS (Group 1) Placement at the Harvest Moon Classic AKC Open Shows in Santa Rosa, CA.
Nov 6-7, 2025: 2x Best of Breed, 2x Best in FSS (Group 1) and 2x Best in Open Show (BISO) Placements at the Wine Country Kennel Club’s AKC Open Shows in Napa, CA.
